Nothing Can Separate Us

Date: April 5, 2020 | Speaker:

Hard times and trials are inevitable, but how can we know for sure that our commitment to follow Christ will continue to stand firm through those hard times? What is it that we can count on to hold us steady when the storms begin to blow? The Bible gives us the answer in three simple words. Every believer should make these words the foundation of their life and faith. Without them, we will surely fall.

How the Bible Defies the Odds

Date: January 13, 2019 | Speaker:

Take 40 people to the library and tell them to choose any books they want. Some people must choose more than one so that there are 66 books in all. What are the odds that all 66 books would be in agreement and form one continuous story? It is statistically impossible! The 66 books of the Bible were written by 40 authors from diverse backgrounds, living over a period of about 1,500 years, and yet when all 66 books are brought together, they form one complete, unified story from beginning to end. This is just more evidence confirming the Divine authorship of this amazing Book.

Does It Really Matter What We Believe?

Date: April 10, 2016 | Speaker:

Does it really matter what we believe, or is it good enough just to believe in “something”? The Bible warns us not to believe everyone who claims to speak for God, because although they may stand behind a pulpit and teach from the Bible, there are many false prophets who are leading people astray. So how do you know if what you’re hearing is the truth or not? Join us today as we find out.

Are We Ashamed?

Date: August 10, 2014 | Speaker:

As we trace the spread of the gospel through the book of acts, we learn that as it was preached it would cause two results; salvation for some who heard the message and persecution to those who brought the message. How is it that the Gospel can be considered “good news” if the people who share it are always getting beat up? So when Paul says that he’s not ashamed of the gospel, does he have in mind just the extrinsic fact of it, or the intrinsic effects of it on his own life?

The Spiritual Man

Date: December 8, 2013 | Speaker:

God has a plan and a purpose that He is bringing to pass. Through the ages, there are different degrees to which the world has experienced God; Innocence, Conscience, Human Government, Promise, Law. Living in the age of grace now, our experience with God is dependent upon our cooperation with the Spirit of God. We cannot gain true wisdom, knowledge, understanding, or counsel without the Holy Spirit. We must learn to trust Him over our own senses and understanding. We will only begin to trust Him over our own senses if we know who He is. We will only know who He is, when we choose to read His word, trusting His Spirit to reveal to us who He is.

How to Conclude Your Life Well

Date: April 1, 2012 | Speaker:

Solomon had everything a person could ever want, yet despite all his wealth and learning, he chose to live for the pleasures of this world and failed to consider the end of his life until it was too late. 1 Kings 11 says, “Solomon’s heart was not fully devoted to the Lord.” Although he knew the Word of the Lord very well, he failed to put it into practice in his own life, and so his life ended in heartache and regret. What about you? Are you living life with the end in view, making choices now that will keep your heart focused upon God so that you can conclude your life well?

Committed to the Mission

Date: July 5, 2009 | Speaker:

Churches everywhere are filled with people who have made a commitment to Jesus… but many of those people have never made a commitment to the “mission” of Jesus. They took a step towards the cross to be saved, but they have never taken the next step to go beyond the cross and live out their lives for the cause of Christ. Today’s messages challenges us to not just make a commitment to Jesus, but to make a commitment to the mission of Jesus as well.

Why Should I Believe the Bible? (Part 2)

Date: March 2, 2008 | Speaker:

The Bible claims to be the actual words of God; the absolute truth and final authority on life. Either it is or it isn’t… there’s no third option! But if the Bible is to be completely trusted, then it must be totally reliable and accurate in every area to which it speaks; not just doctrinally, but scientifically and historically as well. Today we uncover some stunning scientific and archaeological facts that the Bible wrote about centuries before man ever discovered them!

Why Should I Believe the Bible? (Part 1)

Date: February 24, 2008 | Speaker:

It doesn’t much matter what you believe about Time Magazine, the JC Penney catalogue, or Gulliver’s Travels… but it matters immensely what you believe about the Bible. If the Bible is indeed what it claims to be, then the implications for all of us are enormous! Today we examine some of the remarkable evidence that makes the Bible unlike any other book that has ever been written — a book that has withstood every criticism leveled against it, and despite many attempts by tyrants throughout history to wipe it off the face of the earth, the Bible continues to be the best-selling book of all time.
