Redefining the Good Life

Date: November 16, 2025 | Speaker:

Every day we are offered endless definitions of happiness, each promising fulfillment if we would only chase harder, possess more, and climb higher. But Jesus invites us into His radical kingdom where true happiness emerges in the most unexpected ways. He turns the world’s ideas on their head, revealing that blessing belongs to those who pursue mercy and peace, devote their hearts to God, and endure persecution. These are the family traits of those who have been transformed by God’s grace, who have chosen to live in His upside-down kingdom. Which kingdom are you living in?

Children of Light: Truth vs. Falsehood

Date: May 4, 2025 | Speaker:

From the very beginning of creation, God desired to bring forth life out of darkness, so He said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. This separation is representative of two opposing kingdoms; one to which His children belong, and one to which His enemies belong. Scripture tells us that God is light, and there is no darkness in Him, and those who belong to Him are children of light. Join us as we look at some of the attributes of each kingdom, and the separating choices each person will face as a reflection of the kingdom to which they choose to belong.

A Caring Healer and a Faithful Friend

Date: February 23, 2025 | Speaker:

In Luke’s carefully researched Gospel, you encounter not just historical facts, but the compassionate heart of both the physician and the Christ he portrays. Luke presents Jesus as one who cares for the outcast, the sick, and the downtrodden—who notices the overlooked and touches the untouchable—revealing a Savior who heals both bodies and souls. His precise investigation offers more than intellectual certainty; it invites you to witness a Savior who meets you where you are—in your mess, your doubts, your ordinary days. Luke himself had this same compassionate heart, demonstrated by being the only one who stayed with the apostle Paul in prison right up until his execution. Luke’s introduction is not just an opening statement, but a call to be certain that what you believe about Jesus is undeniable truth.

Staying True in a World of Broken Promises

Date: December 15, 2024 | Speaker:

What happens when faithfulness falters? Malachi confronts the people of Israel about their unfaithfulness to God and to one another. Their compromised worship and broken relationships reveal the deeper issue: hearts that have drifted from God’s covenant. This message explores how we, too, can fall into patterns of half-hearted devotion and relational betrayal. Yet God’s call to faithfulness invites us to realign our hearts, honor our commitments, and experience His blessing. Through this passage, we’ll discover what it means to guard our spirits and live as covenant keepers in a world that often disregards sacred promises.

Faithfulness in the Face of Opposition

Have you ever started something for God, only to face discouragement and opposition that made you want to quit? In the book of Ezra, the Israelites encountered this very situation as they rebuilt the temple. Discover how staying close to God’s Word can help you overcome attacks, despondency, and spiritual decline. If you’ve grown weary in your journey, find encouragement in His Word today. It will guide, strengthen, and empower you to carry on, even in the most challenging of times.

Nothing Can Separate Us

Date: April 5, 2020 | Speaker:

Hard times and trials are inevitable, but how can we know for sure that our commitment to follow Christ will continue to stand firm through those hard times? What is it that we can count on to hold us steady when the storms begin to blow? The Bible gives us the answer in three simple words. Every believer should make these words the foundation of their life and faith. Without them, we will surely fall.

How the Bible Defies the Odds

Date: January 13, 2019 | Speaker:

Take 40 people to the library and tell them to choose any books they want. Some people must choose more than one so that there are 66 books in all. What are the odds that all 66 books would be in agreement and form one continuous story? It is statistically impossible! The 66 books of the Bible were written by 40 authors from diverse backgrounds, living over a period of about 1,500 years, and yet when all 66 books are brought together, they form one complete, unified story from beginning to end. This is just more evidence confirming the Divine authorship of this amazing Book.

Influential Mothers

Date: May 8, 2016 | Speaker:

Throughout history, God has used certain individuals in powerful ways for the furtherance of his Kingdom. In this message, we review the stories of 5 men and how the Lord used the influence of their mothers to shape them in their ministries.

Does It Really Matter What We Believe?

Date: April 10, 2016 | Speaker:

Does it really matter what we believe, or is it good enough just to believe in “something”? The Bible warns us not to believe everyone who claims to speak for God, because although they may stand behind a pulpit and teach from the Bible, there are many false prophets who are leading people astray. So how do you know if what you’re hearing is the truth or not? Join us today as we find out.

Are We Ashamed?

Date: August 10, 2014 | Speaker:

As we trace the spread of the gospel through the book of acts, we learn that as it was preached it would cause two results; salvation for some who heard the message and persecution to those who brought the message. How is it that the Gospel can be considered “good news” if the people who share it are always getting beat up? So when Paul says that he’s not ashamed of the gospel, does he have in mind just the extrinsic fact of it, or the intrinsic effects of it on his own life?

The Spiritual Man

Date: December 8, 2013 | Speaker:

God has a plan and a purpose that He is bringing to pass. Through the ages, there are different degrees to which the world has experienced God; Innocence, Conscience, Human Government, Promise, Law. Living in the age of grace now, our experience with God is dependent upon our cooperation with the Spirit of God. We cannot gain true wisdom, knowledge, understanding, or counsel without the Holy Spirit. We must learn to trust Him over our own senses and understanding. We will only begin to trust Him over our own senses if we know who He is. We will only know who He is, when we choose to read His word, trusting His Spirit to reveal to us who He is.

The Natural Man

Date: November 17, 2013 | Speaker:

All mankind has a center to their being. At that center is a throne. The Natural Man himself is sitting on that throne. No matter what stage of life you are in; if Jesus is not sitting on that throne, you have not come to salvation.
