God has impacted many lives through LifePoint Church. Here are a few words from some of those people. If you have been blessed by LifePoint in any way, click here to share your story with us!
My wife and I did our Church at home for many years, while our children were little. This year, however, we felt a deep calling to begin serving the Lord outside of our home and decided to take a leap of faith and branch out in order to find a church where we felt welcome, and where we felt we could grow in our faith while serving. We were very nervous about this decision and even felt a little uncomfortable putting ourselves out there. After trying other churches, a neighbor recommended LifePoint to us, and with our first service we knew we had found our new home. From Pastor Phil and the Elders down to each and every member, we were welcomed with open arms. Since day 1 we have been made to feel like a part of this family, and we are so excited to grow in our faith moving forward with LifePoint! If you are looking for a church with down-to-earth and welcoming people, where you can hear God's true gospel straight from the Bible, this is the spot!
When I moved to Greenville I thought it impossible to find a church family and pastor comparable to my previous church. Jesus led me to LifePoint where I found the impossible—a congregation of thriving folks so beautifully connected and Pastor Phil Pike who is truly a messenger of Our Lord. His sermons take a place deep in my soul and resonate throughout the week...until the next. I have found my church home and family at LifePoint church. Thank you, Jesus.
We searched for a church for about 3 years before finding LifePoint. It has been a blessing for our family to be a part of this church. Biblical truth is preached every Sunday. The worship is authentic. The people are real. And most importantly, the leadership submits to Christ's authority. I would recommend anyone visit (or listen online) - it will refresh your soul.
My wife and I had been searching for a church that preached the gospel, taught the Bible and did not bend to the dictates of the world or the current hot-button cultural issues. We found Lifepoint on Google and we are so thankful for all the kind believers who welcomed us and the conviction of its leaders.
Lifepoint Church has sermons filled with accurate Biblical teachings from godly leaders and a congregation that evidently displays the Holy Spirit working in their hearts and lives. This church opens the Bible every single Sunday and preaches the good news of the Gospel firmly while being surrounded by a broken world. The members at this church speak truth and really act as members of Christ's body. I found my church family and home here.
We attended our first Sunday here and we knew right away there was a uniqueness about this church. God used LifePoint to develop in us a stronger passion for him and a deeper relationship with him. God has truly blessed us by bringing us to LifePoint!
Lifepoint Church has been a healing balm to my soul. Everyone has been so kind and welcoming from my very first visit on. I have received so much love and compassion without judgment from the people here. The sermons constantly challenge me to know God better and to strive to be more like Him. I am so grateful to be a part of a healthy, humble, loving church family with brothers and sisters who daily strive to walk as Jesus walked. This is what "church" is all about!
LifePoint Church welcomed our family when we visited 3 years ago and we quickly made if our church home. We saw that LifePoint doesn't just 'do church' but the members and church leadership strive to live life together as a group of broken people who praise God for His love and grace and try to share that same love and grace to fellow believers and to all who visit. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey..... whether as someone searching for answers about God, someone growing in their faith, or a long time believer, I would encourage you to visit LifePoint. You will experience God's Word being taught and the Gospel being lived out.
I first came to LifePoint when visiting my sister. For me, LifePoint is an oasis where I can be refreshed with living water. Every Sunday I come with expectation of what message I will receive from our Lord. It is always great. It is a privilege to be part of LifePoint!
LifePoint doesn't sugarcoat, mince words, or gloss over anything. You will not find general "y'all be good, now" sermons here. Phil digs deep, often exploring the linguistic, geographic, and cultural context of words and verses, explaining them in a variety of ways to give us better insight on the meaning of potentially confusing passages. The themes are thought-provoking, well-researched, and typically presented in a long-form series that allows us to be steeped in a book or chapter for several weeks. A favorite phrase is "balance scripture with scripture," which is incredibly refreshing when so many voices and factions like to cling to cherry-picked verses to support their personal worldviews. I appreciate LifePoint's transparency, honesty, and commitment to the kingdom.
Faye and I had "wandered the wilderness" for many years looking for a church home. When we came to LifePoint Church for the first time (as a result of a VAL-Pak coupon, of all things!), we were amazed! Greeted by warm, friendly, caring people on all sides, we experienced the Love of Christ washing all over us! We weren't visitors! We were home! That knowledge was reinforced by the wonderful music lifted up in praise by the music team, then sealed when we heard the message delivered by God through Phil. Yes, we were truly home. A place to worship and a base from which to serve our Lord in joyous freedom with a family of believers who live the command of our Lord Jesus in John 15:12, "This is My Commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." Are you wandering in the wilderness? Come as you are and experience the Love of Christ offered freely by the body of believers at LifePoint. No coupon required.
I have been listening to the sermons online for a few weeks now. This past Sunday, I decided it was finally time to overcome my anxiety of stepping into a new place alone and attend the service. Before stepping in I asked the Lord to open my heart to what Lifepoint had for me that morning. Let me tell you, LifePoint had exactly what I needed to hear. From the worship, to the message, and even to the side story the woman leading the worship had mentioned, it was exactly what I needed to hear. I’ve been looking for a new church to call home and I think just from one visit I’ve found it. The pastor, honestly, taught me more in his one sermon than I have ever learned from any other pastor. I’m beyond excited to see what message awaits for me at LifePoint this upcoming Sunday. I highly encourage anyone looking for a new church home or anyone that’s just curious about the Christian faith to give LifePoint a Chance, you definitely won’t regret it!
We are so thankful for LifePoint! The staff and volunteers lead with Grace and Truth! The Biblical teaching challenges us to grow in our Faith. This body of believers we have come to know as family welcomed us with open arms - my wife and I, and our children, felt immediately connected and have since come to know Lifepoint as our home Church!
My life has been radically transformed through the series of sermons called "Giving Ourselves Completely to God." I listened to those sermons through prayer and fasting, and it was amazing! I am now living totally for God because there is nothing better.
Your church is such a blessing. Listening to each message brings new life. The honesty and sincerity of each message cuts me deep every time I listen. God bless your entire church for allowing him to rule through your hearts to affect the whole world. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!
The pastor is a man and a servant, as willing to listen as he is to teach. This as opposed to the untouchables I have so often encountered, who hear nothing if it's not their own voice. Alas, better to be a poor and wise youth than an old king beyond correction. The doctrine I have heard here, tested time and again against the scriptures, has met every hopeful expectation I had. Finding a place of worship where the pastor is willing to stand up and be counted is refreshing in the utmost. It is my opinion that anyone ready to be free and victorious in Christ will find fulfillment here. I humbly recommend this congregation to those who desire faithful teachings of scripture with a great diversity of useful topics relevant to daily life.
Lifepoint has been my and my family's church home for almost 10 years, and I am so thankful for the incredible community that worships, serves, learns and does life together. Lifepoint is a place where you'll encounter the hard-hitting truths of the Gospel, uncompromised and un-watered down by secular culture, balanced with humility and genuine love for God and others. Expository teaching, close-knit church family, contemporary environment without unnecessary frills. Except a coffee maker! We do have that.
Thank you for your podcast sermons. I am often abroad and they are a real blessing and encouragement, especially when normal means of fellowship are not possible. God bless you!
I was invited to go to a new church and I said okay, but naturally I went with guarded thinking. Being different than what I was brought up in, this church and this man who spoke God's Word grew on me. I had found a place where I could leave all the "issues" behind. This church is just the place where God has wanted me to be. Want to visit? Please feel free...
I read your website and praise be to God, I accepted Jesus into my life. Thank you!
I am 28 and have experienced a lot since I was a child. I was raised in church with the help of my grandmother and later on, my parents. I began playing on my church worship team when I was only 14 years old. I played in youth events, college groups and studied drums overseas. I have served in many churches but I have never, ever found a church with a heart as big as Lifepoint's. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel welcome and accepted. A lot of churches today see a number rather then people as individuals who need healing, restoration and most of all...LOVE. The one simple and true statement about the Lifepoint family is, they get it! I am truly blessed to be part of a church that is after the heart of God full speed. If you are looking for a place to fit in, to feel loved, to know and learn the word, to find new friends, then you need to come see us!! We would love to meet you! Come as you are.
The people at LifePoint really do get it. Church is not some place we GO. The church is what we ARE, and that understanding makes all the difference! Many people I meet avoid church because they feel like they're not good enough or that church people somehow have it all together. Nothing could be further from the truth! LifePoint is not a church made up of perfect people. It's a church made up of people who have been forgiven and restored from their broken pasts, who are not afraid to be real and love others unconditionally with the love of Jesus, and that's why I think others are drawn to us.
We praise God for the ministries of Lifepoint church. Ever since we have discovered your teachings on the internet we are being blessed in many ways. Can you please come to preach the gospel in our country so many of the people here can be blessed. We would like to know your church more.
I had lost all hope and began to think that no matter how much I prayed it would never be enough to take away my sin so I could go to heaven. But then I found this web site and prayed the prayer provided to become a Christian. Tears came streaming down my face and I don't feel so empty anymore.
Years have past since I stepped foot in the door of a church that was real. There's no fancy footwork by me or anyone else here. Christ is moving in and through the people at LifePoint. Phil Pike is teaching us Christians how to walk daily, how to deepen our lives in Christ and how to reach out and touch those who need peace, freedom and a personal walk with Jesus Christ himself. Oh dear friend, come and see for yourself God's splendor.
The people at LifePoint express the truth that has freed them. They know Jesus and they make Him known by their living testimonies. LifePoint to me is the church that we as individuals should be: worshiping, praising, and glorifying God. I just hope I do not mess it up.
I have learned so much through your teaching! The Bible has come alive for the first time and I am growing more than ever before. The series called 'Becoming Bold Followers Of Jesus' has completely changed my life forever. I can't thank you enough!
What drew me to LifePoint were the strong family relationships. I grew up in church all my life, but did not know Christ Himself. He was so misrepresented in the religious 'Christianity' I knew. When I came to LifePoint I met genuine, imperfect people who loved God and loved each other with all their hearts—people who live Christianity. I met couples who had been married more than 5 years who actually still loved each other. I met teenagers who actually loved their parents. I just wanted to sit behind them and watch them, to learn what living Christianity looks like. I was loved on by people who made me feel that it was okay to be not okay sometimes. I didn't have to put on a smile and act happy. I could come broken and meet a real Jesus who really loves me.
LifePoint has been like a bonus prize for me. I fell in love with a man named Stephen who invited me to attend this church and I have fallen in love with Christ all over again because of this church and Phil Pike's gift of communicating God's love and grace. Thank you for being such a blessing to me. And I think I'll keep that man Stephen too!
We've never been part of a church that's just getting started, so this is all new territory for us. The bottom line is, it's AWESOME! It's incredible to see God at work, bringing people together and making the pieces fall into place. For the first time in years, we are truly excited about being in a Sunday morning service. We haven't worshipped and learned like we are now in quite some time. Everyone has been warm and friendly; but even better than that, they are genuine. We can't wait to see what God has in store next for us and our new church family!
For the first time in many years I have found a place at LifePoint Church. It's like coming home again where the people are so warm and friendly and are genuinely concerned about you. Our pastor steps aside every Sunday allowing the Holy Spirit to use him as a "suit of working clothes." I cannot wait now for Sunday to come!
Praise the Lord for LifePoint Church. I am in IRAQ and we thank you for the love you showed us. So many are touched by reading the Bibles we received from you. May Almighty God bless you many times.
I found your sermons online and though I live on the West Coast they have touched my life. I have a small church I attend and I use my pastor's messages to help me grow as well as my own study - but your teachings are assisting me greatly. Praise God for you, your great church and your wonderful website.
Thank you so much. I have prayed every night but I always felt that there was an empty piece in my life. I was not confident of my eternal life. I read your website and prayed for God to forgive me and save me. I now have a new outlook on life. Thank you again.
I came to your Women's Retreat this weekend along with my friends from Greenwood, SC. When we arrived we were met by friendliness and love. The decorations just screamed, 'Come in and enjoy yourself!' The food was great too! Please let us know when you have another conference. We would love to come back and bring others. I praise the Lord for the ladies who came and shared with us, helping us walk in a deeper relationship with our Maker. God bless you all!
LifePoint's love, caring and support for one another is incredible.
