It’s funny to watch two children staring at the last slice of pizza or the last piece of birthday cake, trying to decide who will get it. Even as adults, we find ourselves racing other people to the closest parking space, or arranging details to be sure we get with the biggest portion of a business deal. When we let our desires lead us instead of asking God for direction, we will never end up where He wants us to be. So, what is driving your choices in life right now?
A Call to Remember
Jesus greatly anticipated His last Passover meal with His disciples. The Passover meal itself was to remember something very important, and it was in this setting that Jesus announced to His disciples the New Covenant, one to replace the old, a covenant that would be confirmed with His own blood. Again and again Scripture tells us to remember what happened concerning the old covenant and to remember this new and better covenant that God now offers to us. Listen as we take a closer look at some of what Scripture tells us concerning these things we are to remember.
