Put on the New Self

To be born again is to become a new creation. The old has gone, and the new has come. But the process of this transformation can take a lifetime to complete. A process to which we must remain committed until we are properly clothed for the wedding God is planning for His Son. The end result is that we will actually bear the image of Christ, the One to whom we have joined and with whom we have been raised to new life. A Call to Remember

Jesus greatly anticipated His last Passover meal with His disciples. The Passover meal itself was to remember something very important, and it was in this setting that Jesus announced to His disciples the New Covenant, one to replace the old, a covenant that would be confirmed with His own blood. Again and again Scripture tells us to remember what happened concerning the old covenant and to remember this new and better covenant that God now offers to us. Blessed are the Peacemakers

Our Redeeming God and His New Covenant
