A Spiritual Life requires Spiritual Food. As born again believers, we must nourish ourselves with Christ; He is the bread of life. Do you feel spiritually dry, or spiritually dead? Have you been eating at the table with Jesus; enjoying fellowship with Him? For the two on the road to Emmaus, it was once they sat down to fellowship with the stranger that they understood. Their eyes were opened when Jesus broke and shared the bread.

 

Committed to Community

When humans are placed in solitary confinement for long periods of time, they often begin to lose their mind, because we were created for relationships. In our fast-paced world, “community” is almost a lost art. But if we are ever going to be a church on fire, we must be committed to community, as the early church was. Unless our lives are closely intertwined with the lives of other believers, we will never be all that God intends for us to be.

Why Should I Believe in the Church?
