Opening Our Eyes to the Spiritual Realm

Date: October 10, 2021 | Speaker:

It is possible to have 20/20 vision but still be completely blind! If we only perceive life through our physical senses, we’ll be dangerously unaware of the spiritual realm that exists all around us. This will make us vulnerable to the enemy and cause us to live in fear when we face overwhelming battles. Being aware of God’s presence all around us brings an entirely new perspective to everything. It reminds us that, as God’s children, we are never alone. We are never outnumbered. We are never at the mercy of the enemy. Are your spiritual eyes open?

The Believer’s Position in the Grace of God

Date: January 3, 2021 | Speaker:

How many good works does it take to earn salvation? How clean do you have to make yourself before God will accept you? The fact is, salvation cannot be earned. Salvation is a gift from God, given out of His great love, mercy and grace to all who believe. It is only through faith in Christ Jesus that we can be transformed from death to life, from darkness to light, from hopelessness to having the unshakable certainty of eternity in heaven! Have you ever trusted in Christ to save you, or are you still trying to earn it?

Christmas: The Wonder of WHY

Date: December 20, 2020 | Speaker:

For many people, Christmas is just another holiday. It has no more significance to them than New Year’s Day or Valentine’s Day. But the fact is, Christ’s coming into the world has eternal consequences for every one of us. Our sin had forever cut us off from God and put us under His wrath, and we had no way of rescuing ourselves. Christ came to save us from our sin and free us from the judgment of God, and that’s why we celebrate Christmas.

Date: August 30, 2020 | Speaker:

What do you do when some traumatic event has left you shaken, broken, and filled with worry? What do you do when the future looks so overwhelming that fear paralyzes you from moving forward? The same help that God gave to Joshua is available to you right now. Yes, you can continue following God, even in days of uncertainty!

Biblical Unity

Date: June 9, 2019 | Speaker:

Divisions, arguing and fighting have not only destroyed families, but churches, and even entire governments. The Bible says, “A house divided against itself cannot stand.” As the Body of Christ, we have been called to function together in oneness of mind and spirit, united by His Word. We must lay our own desires aside and put Christ above all, using our different spiritual gifts to make the Body whole and healthy.

Don’t Forget Who’s in Charge!

Date: January 27, 2019 | Speaker:

In our country, citizens can vote leaders in or out of office, but in days of old when kings ruled, they had absolute authority over their entire domain. Everyone who lived within the king’s domain were his subjects. The Bible begins in Genesis 1 with an amazing display of God’s power and authority, letting us know that He is King over everything. From the smallest ant to the biggest galaxy, all creation obeys His voice. But do we? Do our thoughts, our words and our actions give evidence that God is the ruler of our lives, and that we are living in subjection and obedience to Him?

A True Disciple is Filled with the Spirit

Date: October 14, 2018 | Speaker:

When we are saved, the Holy Spirit comes to live inside of us. His role in our lives is indispensable, and yet He is the least acknowledged and least appreciated person of the Trinity. If we truly understood all that He does for us every moment of every day, and the devastation our lives would be in without His convicting, teaching, guiding and empowering, we would appreciate Him far more, and we would long to be filled with Him continuously. Today we learn how we can be filled with the Spirit, and what that actually means.

The Body of Christ

Date: March 25, 2018 | Speaker:

It’s easy to forget the context in which the New Testament writers, and Jesus himself, taught us about taking part in the Lord’s Supper. In examining the context more closely, it becomes clear what Jesus was communicating to His followers. Listen as we take a closer look at the heart of what Jesus was passing on to us to not only remember through our knowing, but to also remember through our doing.

Overlooked But Not Forgotten

Date: September 10, 2017 | Speaker:

When you’re faithfully living for God but still facing hardships, it can be disheartening to see evil people prospering all around you, seemingly untouched by adversity. In those moments, it’s easy to feel forgotten by God. But take heart—God has not abandoned you. Even when it seems like evil is winning, remember that God is always at work behind the scenes. One day, He will bring justice and make all things right. Hold on to that hope, knowing that your faithfulness will not go unrewarded.

Sticking Together in Hard Times

Date: July 16, 2017 | Speaker:

As we face the trials and hardships of life, we must not face them alone. Some Christians think they can separate themselves from the Body of Christ and still survive, but the notion of individual Christianity is not found anywhere in the Bible. Peter gives us vital instructions on how to stick together when life tries to tear us apart, and when we do, our lives will bring glory to God. Make sure you are not trying to do life alone!

A Love That Changes Everything

Date: May 14, 2017 | Speaker:

It is human nature to strike back when someone hurts us, but Christ calls us as His followers to respond with love and blessing instead. This kind of love startles people; it pierces them and affects them deeply because it allows them to experience a first-hand encounter with Christ. But responding this way not only blesses others, it also brings promised blessings to us! Is your life showing this kind of love?

The Influence of a Godly Wife

Date: April 23, 2017 | Speaker:

The Bible instructs wives to submit to their husbands, but surely that’s an outdated idea in our modern, enlightened society! Is this still God’s plan? If so, why is it so difficult to carry out, are there limits to submission, and how will God bless a marriage when a wife chooses to trust Him in this area?
