Stooping to Save: The True Cost of Christmas

Christmas draws our focus to the manger—the baby, the shepherds, the wise men. But have you ever looked deeper, past Bethlehem to see the whole story? The eternal Lord of glory didn’t cling to His rights or status; instead, He laid aside His privilege and became a servant, subjecting himself to mockery, torture, and eventually the shame of the cross. But the Christmas story doesn’t end in humiliation. Christ was raised from the dead and is now seated at the right hand of the Father in glory; and one day, every knee will bow before Him and every tongue will confess that He is Lord of all!

Buried and Raised: The Death of the Old You

Romans 6 says the old you, the one enslaved to sin, had to die. And in Christ, that’s exactly what happened. When He was nailed to the cross and buried in the tomb, your old self died with Him. But you were also raised with Him into a new life, free to walk in His resurrection power. Christ now lives in you, equipping you with strength and victory that are not your own. That’s what baptism proclaims: not a cleaned-up version of who you were, but a new creation, born again, alive in Christ!

More Than Forgiven!

You no longer need to carry the crushing weight of guilt—Jesus paid for it in full. You’re not on the outside looking in—you’ve been invited into His presence. You don’t have to strive for approval—you are fully accepted and loved. So live today in the freedom of what Christ has already accomplished. Stop striving—start standing. Stop doubting—start resting. Don’t just say, “Christ is risen.” Live like it!

The Cost of the Incarnation

Imagine how shocked we would be to hear that all the world’s richest, most powerful people had abandoned their fortunes and moved into the worst part of town without even a penny to their name! We simply couldn’t imagine anyone doing that, and yet, someone actually did. When Jesus came to earth to rescue mankind from sin, He had to lay aside His glory and splendor, and He had to exchange His royal title as the Son of God to be called a lowly Son of man. He lived a life of poverty, ridicule and rejection, and in the end was put to death like a criminal. It cost Him everything to die for us… is it costing us anything to live for Him?

Remembering What God Has Done for You

The Cure for the Curse of Sin

While We Were Still Sinners
