When God Loves the People We Don’t

Date: September 21, 2025 | Speaker:

You probably have a mental picture of what God’s blessings should look like, and who should receive them. The first century Jews were convinced that they would be the exclusive recipients of God’s grace when the Messiah arrived, and that their enemies would be excluded. But Jesus shattered their assumptions by announcing that God’s favor would flow outside their borders to the very people they despised. Upon hearing this, they were filled with rage and tried to kill Him! This ancient scene holds up a mirror to our own hearts: we readily accept God’s mercy for ourselves, yet quietly keep a list of those we consider unworthy. His love exceeds our man-made boundaries, and it always will. So, is there anyone you’re still overlooking?

Children of Light: Life vs. Death – Part 2

Date: August 31, 2025 | Speaker:

From the very beginning of creation, God desired to bring forth life out of darkness, so He said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. This separation is representative of two opposing kingdoms; one to which His children belong, and one to which His enemies belong. Scripture tells us that God is light, and there is no darkness in Him, and those who belong to Him are children of light. Join us as we look at some of the attributes of each kingdom, and the separating choices each person will face as a reflection of the kingdom to which they choose to belong.

Respectable, Religious… and Lost

Date: July 27, 2025 | Speaker:

Nicodemus had climbed the ladder of religious success—mastering the Scriptures, meticulously following the rules, achieving status—only to discover that none of those efforts mattered to God. He came to Jesus expecting affirmation, but instead, Jesus dismantled his entire system with one staggering truth: Unless you are born again from above, you will never get into the kingdom of God. No amount of moral effort, theological knowledge, or religious devotion could bridge the gap. And the same is true for us. The question isn’t whether you’ve earned God’s approval—it’s whether you’ve surrendered to His grace and been born again.

Staying True When it Costs Everything

Date: June 15, 2025 | Speaker:

We all face times of testing when doing what’s right costs more than we imagined, and compromising the truth looks like the easy way out. But these aren’t accidents; they’re proving grounds. When Jesus was led into the desert to be tempted by the devil, He didn’t waver or despair. He stood His ground, anchored in the solid truth of God’s Word. You, too, will be led into the wilderness. And there, stripped of comfort and clarity, what you truly believe will surface. The question isn’t if you’ll be tempted, but whether you’ll hold fast to the Word when it matters most. Because in the wilderness, your identity isn’t proven by performance, but by trusting who God is.

Jesus’ Baptism: Anointed by the Spirit

Date: June 8, 2025 | Speaker:

Though sinless and in no need of repentance, Jesus insisted on being baptized to identify with us, the broken and guilty. He waded into our mess, not to excuse our sin, but loving us enough to meet us in it. The Holy Spirit descended, anointing Him with divine power for the mission ahead. If the perfect, holy, Son of God refused to function without the Spirit, do we actually think we can? So, the real question is, are you relying on your own strength, or desperately depending on the Holy Spirit? You weren’t made to muscle your way through this life. You were made to walk as Jesus walked: surrendered, empowered, and led by the Spirit.

Divine Interruptions: Trusting God’s Plans

Date: March 16, 2025 | Speaker:

God’s plans often come as interruptions to our carefully constructed lives. Zechariah, a faithful priest, and Mary, a humble teenager had two starkly different responses to divine intrusions. Zechariah, wearied by years of unanswered prayer, struggled to believe God’s promise of a son in his old age. Mary, however, received the unimaginable call to be the mother of the Messiah, yet she responded with awe and surrender. Both were called to trust God in ways that defied human logic. Their stories remind us that faith isn’t about having all the answers but about surrendering to God’s purposes, even when they seem impossible. Are you prepared to let God disrupt your plans? True faith means saying, like Mary, “I am the servant of the Lord, may it be to me according to your word,” and then stepping into the unknown, confident that His ways are always good.

Guard Your Faith

Date: March 9, 2025 | Speaker:

Scripture tells us that faith is a treasure more valuable than gold. And like any treasure, it’s something we should guard and protect. Our faith is a target that this world and the kingdom of darkness is constantly trying to destroy. We must stay awake, be alert, and keep watch for the dangers seeking to shipwreck our faith. Join us as we highlight some of the Biblical reminders of how we can guard this precious treasure within us.

From Prayer to Action: The Path of Obedience

Date: August 4, 2024 | Speaker:

At times, we all face challenges so immense that they drive us to our knees. Seeking the Lord in prayer is always the best place to begin, but prayer without action is not obedience. Once we have committed the situation to God, we must then step out in faith and obey what He has called us to do. This step of obedience often leads us into the unknown, and that’s when we must remain keenly attuned to His still, small voice guiding us along the way. Whether you’re in a season of waiting, stepping out, or listening for God’s direction, trust Him with the outcome, knowing that He is orchestrating every detail for His glory and your good.

The Significance of Our Testimony

Date: March 10, 2024 | Speaker:

A testimony can be a powerful thing, and the use of a testimony goes right back to God, Himself, when He wrote His testimony of entering into covenant with His people, Israel. God also did this in His New Covenant, and though there are similarities, His New Covenant is far better than the old. Jesus is the mediator of this New Covenant, and through Him, we can experience all that God has provided for us. Join us as we look at the significance of our testimony.

God gave Ezekiel a task that terrified him, but his response challenges us to find strength in God’s Spirit and trust in His ultimate plan, no matter how overwhelming it may seem. Remember, the same God who empowered Ezekiel will empower you!
