Date: August 18, 2024 | Speaker:

It’s thrilling to celebrate victories in life, whether it’s a significant personal accomplishment, a well-deserved business success, or a hard-fought spiritual battle! But as rewarding as these moments are, they are only temporary. Soon we realize that this warfare never ends because we live in a world of sin. It’s a sobering reminder that we need the ultimate rescue only Christ can give. By His death and resurrection, He conquered sin and secured eternal deliverance for all who put their faith in Him. Have you trusted in Christ for this everlasting victory?

When Evil Seems to Triumph

Date: August 11, 2024 | Speaker:

Does it ever feel like the odds are stacked against you? Despite your faithfulness, do the wicked seem to thrive while you struggle to survive? Remember this: though evil may triumph temporarily, God’s justice will ultimately prevail. Trust in His timing and sovereignty, knowing that even in the darkest moments, He is at work, weaving together His perfect plan. Though the righteous may face threats from the enemy, rejection by friends or family, and even persecution in this life, a day is coming when every wrong will be made right, and the scales will be balanced once and for all.

The Mirage of Earthly Hope

Date: July 23, 2023 | Speaker:

What are you depending on to keep you firmly anchored when the storms of life begin to blow? Your 401k? Your good health? A secure job? Friends or family? While those things may offer peace of mind today, there’s no guarantee any of them will be here tomorrow. In a society driven by the pursuit of possessions, wealth, and pleasure, it is vital to recognize the profound importance of placing your trust and hope in something greater than the transient offerings of this world. There’s only one place to find that unfailing security and eternal peace, and you can find it today!

That’ll Be the Day!

Date: May 28, 2023 | Speaker:

You don’t have to look far in this world to encounter corruption, deception, injustice, and far worse. It’s obvious that our world is broken, and the reason for that is sin. All of man’s best efforts to bring peace and harmony to the world have failed miserably because the only One who can fix it is God. And there is coming a dark and dreadful Day when He will judge the world for their sin. That will be a terrifying Day for all who are unsaved! But there is also going to be a grand and glorious Day when He will welcome His children into heaven and sing songs of joy over them. What an incredible Day that will be! When the time comes, you will be at one of those two Days — judgment or joy. Which one will it be?

God Will Make All Things Right

Date: May 7, 2023 | Speaker:

We all experience seasons of trouble and darkness in life that are sometimes so severe we wonder if help and relief will ever come. All life and hope seem to be gone forever. But God sees life where we only see deadness; He sees hope even when all our hope has faded. Do you feel trapped in the dark right now, certain that no light will shine there again? It’s in those exact moments that you need to trust God more than any other. He has not forgotten you or abandoned you. Hold on and trust unflinchingly in His promises. Things may be bad now, but a better day is coming, and in the end, God will make all things right!

The Best is Yet to Come

Date: April 30, 2023 | Speaker:

Why does it seem like evil men prosper and get away with everything, while Christians who are living for God seem to suffer and struggle without relief? It’s dangerously easy to become disillusioned with life when we get our eyes off God and begin looking at people instead. Our natural tendency is always to compare ourselves with others and conclude that everyone else has it easier than we do, but there’s a vital truth we must never forget. By turning our focus back to God and the truth of His Word, things will become clear once again as we remember that the pleasures and possessions of this world are only temporary. The joys and glories that await true believers cannot be compared to anything in this life, so when you’re tempted to think God is being unfair, just remind yourself that the best is yet to come, and everything will be made right in the end.

What to Do When God is Against You

Date: April 23, 2023 | Speaker:

God’s judgment is coming to this world one day, even though for now He is being incredibly patient with us. When that day comes, what promise or guarantee do you have that you will be spared? Do you think you’ve been a good enough person; you’ve given enough money to the church; you’ve helped enough needy people? The truth is, none of those things will save you from what is coming! There’s only one way you can know with total certainty that you will not be judged for your sin. The Bible says that the wicked will by no means go unpunished, but those who are righteous will go free. Are you numbered with the wicked or with the righteous today, and are you willing to stake your life on it?

Good News Bad News

Date: April 16, 2023 | Speaker:

If your doctor hid the fact that you had cancer because he only liked saying positive things, would you  consider him to be a good doctor? Of course not! Sometimes getting bad news is the best news you could ever get, especially if it would save your life. The gospel of Jesus Christ is good news for mankind, but it also contains some very bad news—that all those who reject Christ will spend eternity in hell separated from God. Right now, every person is either living in the good news of eternal life, or they are living in the bad news of God’s coming judgement. After you die will be too late to make this decision. So, which is it for you? Good news or bad news?

God, What Do You Want From Me?

Date: March 19, 2023 | Speaker:

Have you ever tried to please God by doing more religious things like increasing your church attendance, never missing your daily quiet time or giving more money to the church? The fact is, you can’t earn favor with God by doing any of those things. God is not looking for external shows of religion because it’s dangerously easy to be immersed in religious activities, yet be a complete hypocrite in God’s eyes. Today we explore what God actually requires of us, and the list may surprise you! So, are you doing what God wants?

The Hope that God’s Judgement Brings

Date: November 6, 2022 | Speaker:

As God’s children we sometimes choose to disregard His commands and go our own way. If we continue to ignore His calls to repent, He will send discipline into our life to correct us, like any good parent would do. Feeling God’s discipline is never pleasant and it might even make us think that He doesn’t love us anymore, but the one who is disciplining us is the same loving Father who is always working for our good. If you’ve been away from God and feeling the sting of His chastisement, come back to Him today. Behind the dark clouds of God’s judgement is the sunshine of forgiveness and hope!

Are God’s Judgements Fair?

Date: October 30, 2022 | Speaker:

Some people think that God is being unfair when He dispenses justice and judgement, yet they also think it’s unfair when justice and judgement are not handed down to someone who has wronged them. God has put certain unbreakable physical laws in place, and He has also put immutable spiritual laws in place… break either of them and you will suffer the inevitable consequences. Is there something you feel that God has been unfair about? Always remember that His law is perfect and His judgements are always right, even if it doesn’t feel that way. Be assured that you can trust Him, regardless of how things look today.

The Death You Should Have Died

Date: March 1, 2020 | Speaker:

Imagine being brought to trial for committing a horrible crime, and being given the death penalty. Then suddenly, someone jumps up and says they want to die in your place. The judge agrees, but orders you to perform the execution! Could you do it? In a sense, that’s exactly what we did to Jesus. It was our sin that put Him to death and made Him suffer God’s judgement! How often do we remember just how much He loves us that He would willingly die so that we could live?
