Coming to the End of Yourself

Date: November 9, 2025 | Speaker:

You’ve worked tirelessly to control life, earn approval, and construct your own version of happiness, but now you find yourself surrounded by all your exhausted attempts, realizing that you’ve come to the end of yourself. Congratulations! This is the moment that real change can happen. The kingdom of God isn’t for the proud or self-reliant, but for those willing to admit their own spiritual bankruptcy. True blessing, it turns out, is found when you’re empty of yourself and finally have room for Him.

When God Loves the People We Don’t

Date: September 21, 2025 | Speaker:

You probably have a mental picture of what God’s blessings should look like, and who should receive them. The first century Jews were convinced that they would be the exclusive recipients of God’s grace when the Messiah arrived, and that their enemies would be excluded. But Jesus shattered their assumptions by announcing that God’s favor would flow outside their borders to the very people they despised. Upon hearing this, they were filled with rage and tried to kill Him! This ancient scene holds up a mirror to our own hearts: we readily accept God’s mercy for ourselves, yet quietly keep a list of those we consider unworthy. His love exceeds our man-made boundaries, and it always will. So, is there anyone you’re still overlooking?

How Will You Respond to the Truth?

Date: May 11, 2025 | Speaker:

Matthew chapter 2 is more than a historical account, it’s a mirror revealing how we respond to Jesus, the ultimate Truth. Like the wise men, you may be searching for truth and meaning, but haven’t yet found what satisfies. Or like Herod, you might reject truth because it threatens your control or your pride. Or perhaps, like Joseph, you’ve encountered Jesus and now you live to protect and obey the truth at all costs. The question isn’t if you’re responding to Him, but how. Are you still seeking, stubbornly resisting, or surrendered to His truth? The choice you make reveals not just your journey, but your destiny!

Is the Savior You Want the Savior You Need?

Date: April 6, 2025 | Speaker:

When Jesus entered our world, it wasn’t the peaceful, Christmas card scene we imagine. He came to a people weary from being crushed by 1,500 years of military oppression. They desperately longed for the promised Messiah to rescue them, but their hope was slipping away. Sadly, when Jesus did arrive, they rejected Him because they wanted a king to overthrow Rome, not a servant preaching forgiveness. They wanted political freedom, not heart transformation. Their attitude exposes our own: we ask God to fix our circumstances, while refusing to surrender to His control. But Jesus didn’t come to improve our lifestyle—He came to redeem us from sin and reign as our Lord. Are you resisting the true Savior because you prefer a “savior” of your own making?

Recognizing the Savior in a World That Won’t

Date: February 16, 2025 | Speaker:

One of the most tragic scenes in all of Scripture is when Jesus, the very architect of creation, entered His own world, only to be met with cold indifference. He wasn’t just ignored by strangers; He was rejected by His own people. They had the prophecies, the covenants and the history, all pointing to Jesus, yet they turned away because He didn’t fit their misguided expectations. We often do the same—wanting a God who fits neatly into our plans, who blesses but never disrupts. But true faith means trusting Him completely as both Savior and Lord of all. When you do, you’re not just forgiven; you become a child of God and an heir to His kingdom!

The Good Hand of God Upon Us

Date: September 8, 2024 | Speaker:

As you endeavor to solve problems, accomplish tasks and pursue your goals, remember that your success doesn’t depend upon your own strength or wisdom alone. It rests in the powerful, guiding hand of God. Do you ever pause to recognize how God is working in your life—opening doors, orchestrating circumstances, and meeting your needs? Yes, your planning and effort are important, but it’s God who leads, sustains, and empowers you to do anything of lasting value. In your journey of faith, pause often to thank God for His good and faithful hand upon you, acknowledging that without Him, none of it would be possible.

God May Be Silent, But He is Not Absent!

Date: July 7, 2024 | Speaker:

Does it ever feel like God is absent during life’s chaos? Have you wondered if He is involved in the mundane details of your existence? God often moves in ways we cannot perceive or understand, but always remember that just because God is silent, it does not mean He is absent. The question is, can we trust Him even when we don’t see Him? Our faith is proven in those moments when it seems that God is nowhere to be found. When today looks like just another series of random events, can our eyes of faith see beyond the circumstances, knowing with certainty that God is silently at work in it all?

Does the Most High God Rule Over You?

Date: October 22, 2023 | Speaker:

Deep within our human nature lurks a sinister force so powerful that, if left unchecked, will eventually take control of our life. It is deceptively easy to become entangled in the web of worldly attachments, be it possessions, relationships, ambitions, or social standing. We cling to these earthly treasures with such devotion that they can eventually occupy the throne of our heart. If this happens, God will have to strip away everything that is keeping us from Him; not to destroy us, but to humble and redeem us. By releasing our pride and yielding to God, we can find genuine fulfillment in His boundless love and goodness. Is there anything you are holding onto that is preventing God from being the only true King of your life?

The Way to True Greatness

Date: October 8, 2023 | Speaker:

To one degree or another, we all strive to be ‌the uncontested ruler of our own world. We are constantly told to get ahead and acquire as much as we can along the way. But building our own empire and seeking personal acclaim will ultimately lead us to a life of emptiness. Everything we have selfishly accumulated or achieved will one day slip through our fingers like sand. Instead, let us focus on building God’s kingdom, where we find genuine fulfillment, purpose, and lasting significance. It is in surrendering to His divine plan and inviting Him to rule over us that we discover the path to true greatness and a legacy that endures beyond our own lifetime.

Waiting When You’re Tired of Waiting

Date: August 13, 2023 | Speaker:

In the midst of life’s trials, our impatience often nudges us towards immediate answers and quick fixes, but it is in these moments that we are called to wait on the Lord’s timing and tune our hearts to His guidance. Just as a masterpiece unfolds with each stroke, so our journey of faith gains meaning and value in patiently waiting for the Master to finish His work in us. Walking by faith without having all the answers can be daunting, but doing so affirms our trust in God. So, if your life is in a holding pattern right now, be still before the Lord and listen for His voice. Even though He often seems slow, He will show up right on time!

Keep Fighting! God Will Win the War!

Date: March 12, 2023 | Speaker:

As followers of Christ we would all have to admit that we have often given in to Satan’s attacks and allowed him to have the victory. At times we may even feel overwhelmed by our sin and wonder if anything good will ever come out of our battles in this life. Be encouraged! God will take even our worst failures and ultimately use them for His glory. Believers throughout history have fallen again and again, but none of their failures have disrupted God’s plan. Keep fighting, and when you fall, get back up. Satan may win some battles over us, but God will win the war!

The Problem with Religion

Date: October 16, 2022 | Speaker:

We attend church faithfully every Sunday. We sing the songs, we serve in various ministries and we give our tithe. As far as we’re concerned, those things prove that we’re a “good Christian.” But the Bible says we can do all those things and more, and not be godly at all. That’s the problem with religion. It fools us into believing that as long as we’re checking things off our spiritual todo list, we must be right with God. The only true and accurate assessment of our spiritual condition is when God measures us against His perfect holiness. That’s when we suddenly recognize our true condition and our desperate need to be found in the righteousness of Christ! So, what benchmark are you using to determine your standing before God?
