He is Faithful When We Falter

We have all experienced the dark night of the soul—that crippling blackness that settles over us and refuses to leave. In those seasons, even the strongest faith can question everything it once believed. John the Baptist, the man Jesus called the greatest ever born, found himself in a prison cell wrestling with doubt and wondering if Jesus really was the Promised One. From the very beginning of creation, God desired to bring forth life out of darkness, so He said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. Authority That Shakes the Darkness

Our world is ravaged by sin and filled with broken people as far as the eye can see. Some days it feels like the kingdom of darkness is winning. But our hope stands firm in knowing that the same Jesus who healed diseases, calmed storms, and silenced evil spirits will come again to finish what He started. Imagine being torn from your home and thrust into a foreign land where Christianity is despised. Would you proclaim your faith in Christ or hide it to survive? What gives you certainty in such an uncertain world? How do you keep your fire for God alive when weariness or doubt set in? The Bible paints a vivid picture of a day when Christ will return to eradicate evil and rescue His people. Until then, we must live in this broken world, and the waiting can leave us weary and discouraged. Yet, no matter how dark things seem now, this glorious future is the certainty that inspires us to persevere, remain passionate for God, and find joy in knowing that we will be with Him forever. All tears will be wiped away, and all things will be made new. This is the promise that should fuel an unshakable hope in the heart of every believer!
