Easter Fool or Easter Faith?

Date: April 12, 2020 | Speaker:

Some people find it difficult to believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. To them, it fits in the same category as the Tooth Fairy or the Easter Bunny. So as followers of Christ, are we fools for believing that He actually rose from the dead and that He is still changing lives today, or is there solid evidence for the resurrection?

Reactions to the Resurrection

Date: April 21, 2019 | Speaker:

The followers of Jesus all had different reactions to hearing the news that He had risen from the dead. One wanted to hold onto a feeling to be sure it was true. Others had to see it for themselves or be given physical proof before they would believe. We still struggle with similar reactions in our own Christian walk. Often our faith fluctuates based on how we feel, or by what we can see, but we must be sure our faith is anchored in something much deeper.

The Resurrection Changes Everything

Date: April 1, 2018 | Speaker:

We spend our entire lives trying to keep death at a distance, but still, death is coming for all of us. And death isn’t even the worst news, because after death comes the judgment! So what hope do we have in the face of such frightening events? They will then be able to face death and judgment without fear! Have you trusted in Christ to save you?

Why Are We Seeking Jesus?

Date: November 27, 2016 | Speaker:

The feeding of the 5000 is considered a major transition point in Jesus’ ministry. Crowds of people came to him, seeking him, wanting to learn more about this man who was doing these miraculous things. But after the feeding of the 5000, people stop following him and actually many turn away. Why do they do that? Why don’t they continue following him?

Easter Hope

Date: March 27, 2016 | Speaker:

Hope is an absolutely essential part of life. Where there’s hope, there’s a will to carry on. But on that first resurrection morning, there was no group more hopeless and defeated than the followers of Christ. Even the empty tomb did not convince them. It was only when they saw their risen Lord that their lives were transformed and they were filled with an unshakable hope. Do you know this resurrection hope?

I Want To Know Christ!

Date: May 11, 2014 | Speaker:

A bride on her wedding day would never dream of saying to her new husband, “Thanks for the ring and the lovely ceremony, but I’m leaving now to go live life on my own.” Many people can tell you the time and place they were saved, but they have never had a relationship with Jesus since then. The Bible says if we have truly been saved, our lives will be characterized by an ongoing desire to know Christ more and more. Is that your desire?

How Has the Resurrection Changed You?

An encounter with the risen Savior changes everything. After Jesus rose from the dead, he purposefully and intentionally met with certain people to strengthen and encourage them in some way. Each one, having met their risen Savior, walked away from the encounter, forever changed. Have you encountered the risen Son of God? Have you been forever changed?

His death must also bring about a complete change in our daily walk here on earth. It is impossible for anyone to have a genuine encounter with Jesus Christ and walk away unchanged! Today we celebrate not only the death Jesus died, but the life He gives. Are you living that new life?

The Incredible Exchange

We’ve all been conned into a bad deal or two in our lifetime. But God comes to us this Easter weekend and offers us a deal that is so amazing, it would make no sense to refuse. He is inviting us to become part of the incredible exchange that took place on the cross and the empty tomb 2,000 years ago. Have you accepted this offer? It is the greatest deal you will ever make, and it will result in the greatest change you will ever experience!
