The Distance Between Faith and Sight

Date: September 14, 2025 | Speaker:

When desperation drives us to Jesus, we often arrive with our own desired outcome in mind. Yet what we want from Him pales in comparison to what He intends to do in us. Sometimes He calls us to trust His plan and His timing with nothing more than a promise hanging in the air. True faith is forged in that space between what He has said and what our eyes can see, and with each step of obedience, we are declaring that His word is more reliable than our circumstances and greater than our fears. Are you on that journey right now? Rest assured that taking Jesus at His word is never the wrong decision!

Staying True When it Costs Everything

Date: June 15, 2025 | Speaker:

We all face times of testing when doing what’s right costs more than we imagined, and compromising the truth looks like the easy way out. But these aren’t accidents; they’re proving grounds. When Jesus was led into the desert to be tempted by the devil, He didn’t waver or despair. He stood His ground, anchored in the solid truth of God’s Word. You, too, will be led into the wilderness. And there, stripped of comfort and clarity, what you truly believe will surface. The question isn’t if you’ll be tempted, but whether you’ll hold fast to the Word when it matters most. Because in the wilderness, your identity isn’t proven by performance, but by trusting who God is.

Having Faith When You Don’t Have Answers

Date: March 23, 2025 | Speaker:

Life has a way of unraveling our certainties, doesn’t it? One moment, we think we’ve got it all figured out—our plans, our relationships, our future—and the next, it slips through our fingers like sand. Mary and Joseph were two ordinary people thrust into extraordinary circumstances—her, a teenage girl pregnant with a miracle she can’t explain; him, a young carpenter wrestling with feelings of betrayal and doubt. Yet even in their time of confusion and trembling faith, God came to them with grace and reassurance. We’ve all experienced long nights of silence and seasons of worry when we whisper, “God, where are you?” Mary and Joseph’s story reminds us that trusting God isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about trusting the One who does. Remember, God is with you in life’s darkest moments, and His faithfulness never wavers!

Overcoming Discouragement

Date: September 24, 2023 | Speaker:

Have you ever taught a Sunday School class, led a Bible study, or participated in an outreach endeavor, only to witness what appears to be a total lack of results? It can be disheartening to invest so much and reap so little. Even the prophet Jeremiah, a man of steadfast faith, found himself in the depths of discouragement. But in his darkest hour, when he contemplated giving up, it was the unshakable Word of God that brought him back from the precipice of despair. We must remember that even in the midst of apparent fruitlessness, God’s purposes are still at work in ways we cannot see. If you are in a similar place right now, you can find renewed strength and hope in the unfaltering promises of God’s Word!

These euphoric experiences tend to lull us into a false sense of security, causing us to let down our guard and coast on the momentum of those mountaintop moments. It’s then that we become vulnerable to attacks from the enemy and often find ourselves plunging from the highest peak of triumph to the lowest valley of despair. Learn how tenderly God deals with us in our worst times of defeat and discouragement, and find the hope and renewal you need in Him.

Not All Prophets Are True Prophets

Date: June 20, 2021 | Speaker:

How do you know if the sermon you’re listening to is the true Word of God and not false teaching? Are you able to spot counterfeit Christianity? Not everyone who says they have a word from the Lord actually has a word from the Lord. So be alert and pray for discernment! Satan often uses false prophets to draw people away from the truth and ruin their lives. Don’t be one of them!
