Living a Life Worthy of the Gospel

We have not been given the option of having our lives changed by the Gospel and then doing nothing with it. Our salvation is not just for our benefit, but for the sake of others who do not know Christ. The Bible charges us with the staggering responsibility of living our lives in a manner “worthy” of the Gospel. But we will never be motivated to take the Gospel to others unless we have eyes that see the need, and hearts that break over the need. Once we ask God to truly open our eyes and break our heart for the need of the Gospel, our lives will never be the same again!

We are controlled by whatever we are filled with.

Share Our Grace Story

Committed to Maturity

No one can go to the gym and get in shape FOR you. If you want to get fit, you have to exercise yourself. The same is true when it comes to your spiritual growth. You will never become spiritually mature simply by listening to the pastor teach every Sunday. If you want to grow in Christ, you MUST pursue God yourself by regularly spending time reading His Word. The reward will be that you will hear God speak directly to you, and you will begin to grow spiritually mature.

In our fast-paced world, “community” is almost a lost art. But if we are ever going to be a church on fire, we must be committed to community, as the early church was. Unless our lives are closely intertwined with the lives of other believers, we will never be all that God intends for us to be.

Committed to the Mission
