A Call to Remember

Date: July 10, 2022 | Speaker:

God’s great works throughout history always leaves behind a reminder that points to His Son’s redemptive work, whether by foreshadowing His coming, or by remembering His earthly ministry. Looking at the significance of the blood sacrifice at Passover, the Memorial Stones left behind at the Jordan’s crossing, or the events that occurred at Jesus’ death and resurrection, we will be challenged to remember His plan was forged from eternity past, to impact our future.

Turning and Trusting – Part 1

Date: May 2, 2021 | Speaker:

In the book of Joel, God offers the people of Judah an opportunity to turn to Him despite their past sins and the judgement before them. He does this because of His great love. Even now, God offers us a similar opportunity. His love for us is great and He can change our hearts to desire Him more than anything else in this world. Is that your heart’s desire today?

The Blessing of Being Thirsty

Date: May 17, 2020 | Speaker:

Have you ever had to learn the same lesson more than once? Sometimes we fail to remember God’s blessings and provision from the past, and so new trials can cause us to doubt His faithfulness and provision. Our human tendency is to complain when we are in desperate need, but let’s learn instead that those very times are blessings in disguise. It’s in those moments that God has our full attention, because the struggles He has allowed to come our way cause us to run to Him!

An Invitation into the Forbidden Zone

Date: April 26, 2020 | Speaker:

There was a time when no one could even imagine the idea of entering into the presence of God. His holiness and power caused people to tremble in fear. But when Christ died on the cross as the final sacrifice for our sin, the way into God’s presence was opened up for anyone to approach Him through prayer. Are we making the most of this incredible invitation to come near to God?

Are You in the Light?

Date: April 19, 2020 | Speaker:

Most of us would not feel comfortable being dropped in the middle of a forest at night with no flashlight. There is nothing fun about being lost in the dark! But this is even more true spiritually speaking. The Bible says we are either walking in darkness or we are walking in the light. Where are you?

The Bread that Satisfies Forever

Date: March 15, 2020 | Speaker:

Have you ever gone for a week or more completely forgetting to eat? Probably not. Our bodies crave nutrients and they tell us immediately when we need more. But consider how easy it is to go for days, weeks, or even months without ever eating spiritual food! Is your soul starving right now; feeling empty and aching for something this world cannot provide? Christ invites you to come and feast on the Bread of Life so that you will never be hungry again!

Restoring Your Broken Fellowship with God

Date: March 8, 2020 | Speaker:

How would you react if you went in for major surgery and the doctor came into the operating room with filthy hands and rusty instruments? Just the thought of it is unsettling! While cleanliness is important in the physical realm, it is far more important in the spiritual realm. Even though we are already completely righteous through Christ, sin still hinders our daily walk, and it breaks our fellowship with God. Thankfully He has provided a way for us to be cleansed and to restore our communion with Him. Are you using this simple tool He has given us to constantly maintain your fellowship with God?

The Death You Should Have Died

Date: March 1, 2020 | Speaker:

Imagine being brought to trial for committing a horrible crime, and being given the death penalty. Then suddenly, someone jumps up and says they want to die in your place. The judge agrees, but orders you to perform the execution! Could you do it? In a sense, that’s exactly what we did to Jesus. It was our sin that put Him to death and made Him suffer God’s judgement! How often do we remember just how much He loves us that He would willingly die so that we could live?

Covered by the Mercy of God

Date: February 23, 2020 | Speaker:

No matter how well you did in school, there is one test you will never pass, even if you spend a lifetime trying. Because of our sin, none of us will ever be able to pass the standard of God’s perfect Law of holiness, and failure to do so brings death! We were doomed without hope until Christ came and fulfilled the Law perfectly on our behalf, and then He willingly took the judgement for our sins upon Himself. What amazing love! If you are still trying to earn your way to God, why not receive His mercy today instead?

The Absence of the Presence of God

Date: February 9, 2020 | Speaker:

Imagine how amazing it must have been for the Israelites in the wilderness to know that the very presence of God lived just on the other side of the curtains of the Tabernacle. God, in all His power and glory, was… right there! But in time, they began to take God’s presence for granted, and their hearts turned away to idols. As a result, they lost His presence! Did you know that God still longs to dwell with us today, but He will not do so if we have any other “gods” before Him. Are we actively cultivating our hearts to be a pure, holy, welcoming place for God’s presence to dwell?

You’ll Never Be Good Enough!

Date: February 2, 2020 | Speaker:

Ask a hundred people to tell you who in this world will make it into heaven, and most of them will say, “The ones who are good, who don’t get drunk or do drugs or lie or cheat or steal, the ones who go to church, the ones who keep the Ten Commandments…” In other words, they’re saying if you perform good enough, God might let you in. But, in fact, the Bible says we can never be good enough to get into heaven. Well, that leaves us in a pretty bad spot! So what are we to do? If no one can be good enough to get into heaven, then how do we get there? Listen to today’s message for a look at the Ten Commandments that may surprise you.

The Road to Sinai

Date: January 26, 2020 | Speaker:

It took only days to get Israel out of Egypt but it took years to get Egypt out of Israel. This study reviews the beginning of Israel’s wilderness wanderings from the crossing of the Red sea to their arrival at Mt Sinai. It explores new evidence found in the last few decades that suggests we may be wrong about the traditional location of the mountain where God gave the 10 commandments.
